Men and women within the eternal city have two roles, as priests and as kings: God hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father. (Rev 1:6)
As priests they are intermediaries between God the Father and the people, teaching old truths, which they have learned from the Bible, and praying for them. Each time the people are reborn they will need to be taught about God and his ways by the priests. I said that to the angels belongs the role of prophesy. Man will teach the theory of God, and angels the practice, and will make real to them, the then present reality.
As kings, they will design technologies. They will plan cities, bridges, transport systems, dams, hospitals and schools, disallow pollution, and give the locals access to such technology as they need. They work as scientists, engineers, architects, musicians, and artists. As kings they are intermediaries between Jesus Christ and the people, as they rule according to the constraints he lays upon them, which are according to his Father’s heart.
To rule is to serve, and within the constraints of obedience to the word of God, it is the task of the rulers to gladden the hearts of their people as much as is possible. They are helped, and helped to help themselves, with arts and technology, and all that may interest them. For example, it is obvious that space exploration would interest all nations. Therefore all nations would pursue this to the limits of the technology available to them.
Some think that all will be in the eternal city, but who then would they reign over, as according to Rev 22:15: they shall reign for ever and ever. It must be, as now, according to reality, that only the few can reign.
Paul said: Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize. So run that ye may obtain. Do not wait for God to speak to you. Use your gifts for the extension of his kingdom, read your bible, spend time in prayer, and do not flinch in the face of persecution. Tell the Lord that you want to be in the Holy City, whatever it may cost you, and pray that God would strengthen you to pay the price of suffering, not as great as the twenty-four elders, who, like Paul, fill up in their body the sufferings of Christ, but nevertheless a heavy price. Without the cross there is no crown: if we suffer we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us. (2 Tim 2:12) To be denied means to lose one’s place in the eternal city, and perhaps even amongst those permitted to enter the city.
The working week for the rulers is only four days, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Friday. The other two days, Wednesday and Saturday, are for recreation and shopping, and are spent entirely within the city.
The night wife’s timetable is different for days when she is with a man, to other days. But the time table when she is with a man, is as follows: The man arises at 5:20am and serves her breakfast in bed for an hour until 6:40am. Then he reads the bible to her and prays while she listens until 7:40am. The woman has the morning off when she is with a man. Otherwise her timetable is the same as the man’s.
Then the working day is eight hours, four hours in the morning, from 8am to 12pm, and four hours in the afternoon, from 2pm to 6pm, with two hours for lunch. The first half hour of the morning and afternoon at work are with the man’s night wife, the next half hour with both day and night wife, and the remaining three hours with his day wives.
At noon time there is an hour for lunch, the man with his morning day wife, then forty minutes meeting with God, the man with both of his day wives, then twenty minutes drinking alchohol, the man with his afternoon day wife.
In the evening there is an hour after work until tea, when a man may romance with his night wife, then dinner with her and/or her mother for an hour, when they drink wine. Then there is forty minutes rest before evening quiet time, when Jesus reads the bible, and when they all pray. Then there is twenty minutes for an evening cup of malted milk before retiring at 10pm.
There are about ten million angels, and about ten million humans, who dwell permanently within the New Jerusalem, and who rule over the nations outside the New Jerusalem. The two hierarchies, of men and angels, are the same. Each hierarchy is as follows: First Jesus Christ; then the twenty-four elders, next thirty-six helping women; after that the seven hundred and twenty chief rulers; then the 144 thousand; and finally the rest of the ten million, or rather six companies each of twelve by 144 thousand, to reign over the six kingdoms on earth.
The authority to reign will be determined by goodness and diligence on earth. Those with these qualities are proved through great suffering that they may be accounted worthy to reign. When James and John requested to sit at the right and left hand of the Lord, he replied: Ye know not what ye ask, Can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? And be baptised with the baptism that I am baptised with? (Mark 10:39) He told them that they would experience these sufferings, guaranteeing them a great position, but could not promise them exactly what they asked. They must surely, therefore, be amongst the twenty-four elders, who sometimes sit around the throne of God, being closest to the throne, and have the highest rank in the kingdom. All these have experienced momentarily the sufferings of Christ upon the cross, sufferings of pain and fear orders of magnitude greater than that possible to man under normal circumstances.
The throne at which hand they requested to sit is not the throne of the Son at the right hand of the Father, which is surrounded by the cherubim, but it is a different throne, or rather it is a set of six thrones upon which Jesus sits to reign over the six kingdoms. And upon each throne two at his right hand and two at his left. It was not revealed to James and John that the privilege of sitting at the right and left hand of the Lord, positions of equal honour, belong not just to two, but to twenty-four, and that they would surely be among them if they drank of the cup of Christ’s suffering.
Within each kingdom there is a throne for Christ. At his right hand, when he sits upon each throne, sits the king and his girlfriend counsellor. At his left hand sits the queen, and her counsellor or mother figure. All four positions are of equal honour.
So to lead each nation are four men and women of the twenty-four elders. There is a man, the creative originator and his girlfriend shared wife, his counsellor. Then there is the queen, the implementer, another of the man’s shared wives, and the queen’s mother figure, and her counsellor, and who is a lovely friendly spirit.
Then for each of the six kingdoms there are four angels of the special twenty-four, to enforce: two to bring chastening and two to bring healing. The angel of judgement, who is sensual, and who is the man’s only fully possessed night wife, brings chastening, with the male angel to direct, who is the husband of the queen's mother figure: a commanding angel and a counseling or prophetic angel.
The other two comforting female angels of healing, one counselling or prophetic, and the other commanding. The prophetic angel of comfort is both man’s and the male angel’s shared wife, and is an alluring romantic lover. The commanding angel of comfort is gentle, and is the man’s and the female angel of judgement’s mother figure, and the male angel’s night wife. These angels are of the twenty-four angels who stand around the throne of God at a different time, but in the same way as the twenty-four elders who sit around the throne. They have the same rank as them.
(The man and the male angel are the only two that the ‘shared wives’ with angelic characteristic, ever have: they have each have two wedding rings, or dual jewels. The queen, however, has the king of another kingdom as their second husband. Although, generally speaking, there is no marriage in the eternal city (i.e. women have two men), the six kings of the twenty-four elders, have the privilege of one fully possessed night wife, and two fully possessed day wives.)
About each of the six thrones for the six kingdoms, the two angels of judgement stand at the right hand of the Lord Jesus, and the two angels of healing at the left. They stand rather than sit, and Jesus also stands, as angelic rule is more active. The reward and goodness of each of twenty-four elders and of each of the twenty-four angels is equal. But each has strengths of character pertaining to their role.
Co-ruling with Christ over the Northern kingdom, I would think to be most glorious, but then co-ruling over another kingdom gives more opportunity to exercise qualities of authority and mercy, as one helps the weak. Each throne is equally suited to those who sit in them, and, for joy of rule, preferred by them over all other thrones. Ruling with Jesus and with your wife, is more important than who you rule over.
The king spends time in the morning with his counsellor, and time in the afternoon with the queen and her counsellor.
After the twenty-four elders and twenty-four angels, are two groups of thirty-six women and and thirty-six female angels (six per kingdom). These have intimate fellowship with the twenty-fours and they enjoy two thirds of the reward of the twenty-fours.
These seventy-two, half of whom are angels, sit in the second row of thirty-six around the throne, among humans, or stand in the second row around the throne among angels, being closer to the glory of God than the rest of the 144,000s.
When the king and queen and counsellors sit at the right and left hand of the Lord Jesus, six of these women, sit upon seats at either side of the steps to the throne. And six stand about the throne among the angels.
God has so arranged it, that these seventy-two females were those who helped the twenty-fours on earth. These survey the problems in their kingdom, and show them to the leading man and male angel of their kingdom. With each, flying around the relevant kingdom in an ion powered space car, travel one of these females for three hours in the morning, and another for three hours in the afternoon, showing them the problems of the kingdom. Their reward is greater than Peter’s.
In each kingdom, there are twelve such day wives. Two are possessed by the male angel, two are possessed by the man, like Eve; six are shared ‘wives’ of the male and male angel and two are share wives of the man and the king of another kingdom. Of the king's wives, two are daughter wives in that they remain in their mid to early teens, being daughter to the queen or the commanding angel of judgement, and daughter-like wives to the king. And two are in their mid to late teens.
The twenty-four angels and the twenty-four elders and the thirty-six female angels and the thirty-six women are mixed and grouped in six families of twenty, each comprising two males and eighteen females, one such family per kingdom. Most wife sharing is within the group.
There are also seven hundred and twenty men and women, and seven hundred and twenty angels, who are elevated above the remaining 144 thousand with a reward, one and two thirds as great. This is to say, they have five times the reward of the least in the New Jerusalem, and have much fellowship with the twenty-four elders, being privileged by God to share in their mysteries, some mysteries that are hid from others.
In each kingdom there are twelve families of twenty (half are human, and half are angel) who thus share. The twelve apostles reached this standing, and are all together over the African kingdom with its twelve tribes of Israel. Hence Jesus answer to Peter, that in the regeneration, when the Son of man shall sit upon the throne, they would sit upon twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And David is the king over this African kingdom. There will also be angels to assist them.
Families of the 1440 (there is another 720 of angels), include men and angels, and are based on a social order similar to the twenty-fours and thirty-sixes, except that there is no distinction between day and night wives, as positions are interchangeable. Thus, there are over each kingdom, twelve men, twelve male angels, 108 women, and 108 female angels.
All other families in the New Jerusalem consist either of all angel or all human, although men sleep with female angels in the corresponding family of angels, and male angels sleep with the women of the corresponding human family to themselves. The corresponding family is the family over the same region, as over each region has two families over them: a family of humans and a family of angels.
They sit or stand in ten rows of seventy-two around the throne.
There are the 144,000 who stand upon Mount Zion. These 144 thousand are divided into six divisions of twenty-four thousand per kingdom. These have three times the reward of the least in the New Jerusalem.
This number is divided into 1,500 groups or families of sixteen: two men, and fourteen women. Some women are wives, some shared wives, and some mothers to one and wife to another. Some wives are shared with a corresponding family within the similarly ranked 144 thousand angels. Six wives are night wives and eight are day wives, and the reward of the day wives correspond to 80 per cent of the joy of the night wives and of the men in the family.
Each family of sixteen is over one hundred cities or suburbs of 960. Within the leading group of sixteen, the males have more creative input and the wives implementation strategy. The night wives reign over ten cities and the day wives over five cities each, hence Jesus' words in parable to the servant who had made ten pounds: because thou hast been faithful in very little, have thou authority over ten cities, and to another: Be thou also over five cities. Therefore each family of sixteen reigns over 96,000 outside the New Jerusalem, and therefore the 1,500 families of the 144,000 reign over an entire nation of 1,500 by 96,000 or 144 million.
The lower rank within the New Jerusalem, of 10,368,000 rulers are divided into six divisions, with one division of twelve by 144 thousand, ruling over each of the six nations. The division is divided into groups of twelve, each comprising two men and ten women: six night wives and four day wives (who rotate times). As with the groups of sixteen, within the groups of twelve, their are wives, mothers and shared wives. Wives are shared with the corresponding family of twelve among the corresponding 10,368,000 angels. The corresponding family is the family of angels over the same town, as over each town there is one family of humans and one family of angels.
(It is only those within the New Jerusalem who are equal to the angels, for whom normal marriage does not apply. Perhaps Jesus hid our reward when he said women are not given in marriage, as they are given to two men rather than one. Remember that God deceived Abraham, telling him he must lose his son, Isaac, to prove his heart. And then God made Isaac the father of twelve sons.)
Again the men are more creative and the women more detailed, as collectively they reign over a suburb or small town of 960.
There is not an entrenched hierarchy amongst the rulers. It does not happen, that in most matters, one ruler reports to his boss, who reports to his boss for direction, all the way up to the king. All ten million rulers are kings, who report not only to the Lord Jesus, but also to God the Father. Although there must be constraints upon the main rank by their leaders, these are not onerous, allowing them much freedom to exercise rule. This freedom is effected in two ways: firstly, there is a division of labour; and secondly, government is more decentralised.
The twenty-four elders and their helping women, in number sixty, lead the 144 thousand, and to them belong the priesthood, the upper echelons of education, and the task of cultural enrichment. They do not concern themselves with engineering, or the details of government, except that they must understand the needs of the kingdom, as their education filters down. An additional gift to them is the ministry of space and ocean exploration.
The seven hundred and twenty chief rulers lead the 10,368,000 and to them belong the kingship, that is, most offices of government: planning towns and roads; building schools, factories, and power stations; reserving forests, parks, rivers and beaches for recreation.
The chief rulers, 120 per kingdom, are subdivided into twelve groups of ten, each ruling over 12 million subjects, with 144,000 kings to help. It is obvious that ten chief rulers cannot do much more than make general decisions. The difficult and interesting work, exploring and implementing those decisions, will belong to the main rank of rulers. So, the rulers of a small town would play a small part in greater decisions affecting many small towns. Perhaps this is effected by duplication of specialisation among the towns, some transport, some communications, some housing.
Decisions to be made regarding a small town may not be trivial. The aspirations of those over whom they reign will be higher than those today, and the rulers will seek to fulfill the desires of their subjects.
The discussion above applies to men and women. A half angel is counted as a man rather than an angel. But the reader should also know what applies to angels, because when angels are sent to earth in human form, they do not know that they are angels. Although I said in 'Eternal Kingdom', that in some kingdoms rewards are taken away for disobedience, in other kingdoms, there is rebuke, and in other kingdoms, sickness, this is the predominant chastening of each kingdom rather than the only. In all kingdoms, chastenings range between the three.
It is primarily the role of Jesus Christ and the cherubim, to withdraw rewards temporarily for disobedience.
It is the role of the 144 thousand angels to bring rebuke for disobedience and comfort for contrition, by broadcasting messages from the twenty-four angels, and the thirty-six angels, who stand about the throne of Jesus Christ.
It is the role of the 10,368,000 angels, to bring sickness for disobedience, and healing for contrition, by means of the leaves of the tree of life. They do this in the name of the 720 commanding angels.
For lesser disobedience, there would only be loss of reward; for greater disobedience, there would also be rebuke; for still greater disobedience, there would also be some sickness.
